Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the UK Education Consultants website and the educational consultancy, assessment, advisory and support services provided by UK Education Consultants.

By booking or purchasing a service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Any additional terms set out in an individual proposal, invoice or service agreement will also apply.

1. About UK Education Consultants

UK Education Consultants provides independent educational reviews, advice and tailored support for families in the UK and internationally.

Services may include:

  • Progress & Potential Reviews

  • analysis of school reports and assessment information

  • educational diagnostics

  • school choice and admissions guidance

  • preparation for the 11+, ISEB Pre-Tests, scholarships and interviews

  • targeted educational support

  • consultations and written recommendations

The precise scope of each service will be agreed before work begins.

2. Educational scope and professional boundaries

Our services are educational in nature.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, they do not constitute:

  • a psychological assessment

  • a medical or clinical assessment

  • a formal diagnosis of dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD or another condition

  • legal, immigration or financial advice

  • a guarantee of admission, scholarship, examination result or academic outcome

Educational diagnostics used within our services are intended to explore strengths, attainment and areas that may benefit from further attention. They do not replace assessment by an educational psychologist, specialist teacher assessor, medical practitioner or other regulated professional.

Where appropriate, we may recommend that a family seeks further specialist advice or assessment.

3. Information supplied by clients

Parents or guardians agree to provide information that is accurate, relevant and complete to the best of their knowledge.

This may include:

  • school reports

  • assessment results

  • educational history

  • relevant learning or support information

  • admissions requirements and deadlines

  • parental observations

  • documents requested as part of an agreed service

Recommendations are based on the information made available to us. UK Education Consultants cannot be responsible for conclusions affected by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or withheld information.

Parents or guardians must have the authority to provide information relating to the child.

4. Booking and acceptance of work

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige UK Education Consultants to accept the work.

A service is confirmed only when:

  • the proposed scope and fee have been agreed

  • any requested information has been supplied

  • payment or an agreed deposit has been received

  • written confirmation has been issued

We may decline work where it falls outside our expertise, creates a conflict of interest, cannot reasonably be completed within the required timescale or would be better undertaken by another professional.

5. Fees and payment

Fees will be confirmed before work begins.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • payment is required in advance

  • work will not begin until payment has cleared

  • additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately

  • external assessment, specialist or third-party costs are not included unless specifically stated

  • clients are responsible for any bank, currency-conversion or international payment charges

Invoices must be paid by the stated due date.

We may suspend work or withhold reports where payment remains outstanding.

6. Consultations and appointments

Consultations are arranged at mutually agreed times and will normally take place online unless otherwise agreed.

Clients should join appointments promptly and ensure that they have a suitable internet connection and private environment.

Where a client arrives late, the consultation may still need to end at the original scheduled time.

7. Cancellations and rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled without charge where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.

Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the session may be charged in full.

If a client does not attend an appointment without notice, the full fee will normally remain payable.

Where UK Education Consultants needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, an alternative time will be offered. If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, the fee for that appointment will be refunded.

8. Bespoke reviews, reports and refunds

Progress & Potential Reviews and other written work are bespoke services prepared for an individual child.

Once analysis or preparation has begun, fees relating to work already undertaken are non-refundable.

Where a client cancels before work begins, any refund will be considered after deducting:

  • completed administrative work

  • non-refundable external costs

  • payment-processing charges where applicable

No refund will be provided simply because a family disagrees with a professional conclusion, recommendation or school outcome.

Nothing in these terms affects any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Timescales

Estimated delivery times will be discussed before work begins.

Timescales depend on receiving all required information promptly. Delays in providing documents, completing forms or arranging assessments may delay delivery.

Any stated completion date is an estimate unless expressly agreed as a fixed deadline in writing.

UK Education Consultants is not responsible for missed admissions or assessment deadlines that were not disclosed clearly at the beginning of the service.

10. Reports and recommendations

Reports and recommendations are prepared for the named client and child and for the purpose agreed.

They reflect the information available at the time and should not be treated as permanently applicable if the child’s circumstances, needs or educational setting change.

Parents may share a report with a school or relevant professional at their own discretion. However, reports may not be altered, presented misleadingly or used for another child.

UK Education Consultants does not control how a school, assessment provider or other third party responds to the information.

11. School admissions and assessment outcomes

We do not guarantee:

  • admission to any particular school

  • success in the 11+, ISEB Pre-Tests, Common Entrance or another assessment

  • a scholarship or bursary

  • a particular examination result

  • that a school will follow our recommendations

  • that admissions arrangements will remain unchanged

Admissions decisions are made by schools and other independent bodies.

Families remain responsible for checking registration dates, application requirements, assessment arrangements and official school information.

12. Safeguarding

The safety and welfare of children are paramount.

Where a safeguarding concern arises, UK Education Consultants may take appropriate action, including sharing relevant information with safeguarding professionals or statutory authorities where necessary.

Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is required to protect a child or comply with the law.

13. Confidentiality and data protection

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Families should not send detailed or sensitive child information through the initial public enquiry form unless specifically requested.

We will not normally contact a child’s school or another professional without parental permission, except where required by law or safeguarding obligations.

14. Intellectual property

Website content, diagnostic materials, questionnaires, reports, templates, written recommendations, branding and original resources created by UK Education Consultants remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients receive a personal, non-transferable right to use documents supplied for their own family’s educational purposes.

Materials may not be:

  • copied for commercial use

  • resold

  • shared publicly

  • reproduced as a competing service

  • altered and presented as the work of another person

  • used with another child without permission

Parents may share relevant reports privately with schools and professionals supporting their child.

15. Website information

Website content and Insights articles are provided for general information only.

They are not a substitute for advice based on an individual child’s circumstances.

We aim to keep information accurate and current, but school admissions procedures, assessment formats and external policies may change. Families should verify important requirements directly with the relevant school or organisation.

16. Third-party services and links

We may refer families to schools, assessment providers, tutors, educational psychologists or other professionals.

Any third-party provider operates independently and is responsible for its own services, fees, availability and professional obligations.

A referral does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the outcome.

Our website may also link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

17. Limitation of liability

UK Education Consultants will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing services.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:

  • decisions made by schools or assessment bodies

  • changes to admissions procedures or deadlines

  • indirect or consequential loss

  • loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by a client

  • technical failures outside our reasonable control

  • actions taken by a client or third party following our advice

  • outcomes that cannot reasonably be guaranteed

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

18. Complaints

Any concern should initially be raised by emailing:

info@ukeducationconsultants.com

We will aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and respond substantively within a reasonable timeframe.

We ask clients to raise concerns promptly so that they can be considered fairly and, where possible, resolved.

19. Changes to services or terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions where our services, systems or legal obligations change.

The current version will be published on this page with the latest update date.

Changes will not normally affect services already agreed unless required by law or agreed with the client.

20. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the client’s country of residence.
