Our Services
Every child’s educational journey is different. Our services are designed to help families understand their child more fully, make well-informed decisions and access the right support at the right time.
As an independent educational consultancy, UK Education Consultants works with UK-based and international families through three connected areas: Assess, Advise and Support. Families may access each service independently or combine them to create a more complete and personalised approach.
Whether you are concerned about progress, considering future schools or preparing for a competitive entrance process, we begin by understanding the individual child and the priorities of their family.
-
We build a detailed, joined-up picture of your child’s academic profile, learning needs, strengths and potential.
Our flagship Progress & Potential Review brings together detailed parental insight, school reports, existing assessment data and, where appropriate, selected verbal, non-verbal, English and mathematics diagnostics.
Each review considers:
current attainment and academic strengths
verbal, non-verbal and mathematical reasoning
patterns or discrepancies across different areas
learning habits, confidence and response to challenge
areas that may benefit from further support or extension
whether additional specialist assessment may be helpful
Families receive a personalised written review alongside a consultation to explain the findings, answer questions and discuss clear, practical recommendations.
You will come away with a deeper understanding of your child and a clear sense of what may help them progress, achieve and flourish.
-
We turn a detailed understanding of your child into clear, independent guidance about the decisions that matter most.
Advice may include:
identifying the type of school or educational environment in which your child is most likely to thrive
comparing suitable prep, senior, independent and selective schools
planning entry points, registrations and admissions timelines
considering academic, music, sport, art or all-round scholarship potential
understanding school reports, assessment results and feedback
preparing questions for discussions with your child’s current school
deciding whether further specialist assessment or support may be useful
helping international families understand the UK education system and available pathways
Our advice is thoughtful, realistic and tailored to your family’s aspirations. We consider academic fit alongside your child’s personality, interests, confidence and wider needs, helping you make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
-
We provide focused, personalised support to help each child prepare effectively, build confidence and make meaningful progress.
Support may include:
preparation for the 11+, ISEB Pre-Tests and other school entrance assessments
targeted work in English, mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning
tailored preparation for academic scholarships
individual interview coaching and practice
support with transitions between schools or entry into the UK education system
focused academic support arising from a Progress & Potential Review
guidance for families putting recommendations into practice
Every programme begins with an understanding of the child’s current profile, goals and timescale. Preparation is then carefully planned around their individual strengths and areas for development, rather than following a standard course.
Support may be provided as a focused one-off session or as a tailored programme over a longer period, depending on what will be most useful for the child and family.
