We start by building a clear, detailed picture of your child’s academic profile, strengths and potential.
The Progress & Potential Review brings together structured verbal, non-verbal, English and mathematics diagnostics with existing school data, reports and detailed parental insight.
By looking beyond individual scores, we identify meaningful patterns, areas of strength, possible gaps and anything that may be limiting progress. We also consider how your child approaches unfamiliar tasks, responds to challenge and applies their knowledge.
These insights create a strong foundation for personalised advice about the support, opportunities and educational environment your child may need next.

Advise
We turn this detailed understanding into clear, practical guidance tailored to your child and your family’s priorities.
This may include advice on suitable independent or selective schools, entry points, admissions planning, preparation timelines and scholarship potential. We can also help families understand school reports, decide which questions to raise with a current school and consider whether further specialist assessment may be helpful.
Our recommendations are independent, realistic and grounded in your child’s individual profile, interests and needs.

Support
We provide focused, personalised support to help each child prepare with confidence and fulfil their potential.
Support may include preparation for the 11+, ISEB Pre-Tests and other school entrance assessments, with targeted work in English, mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
We also provide scholarship preparation, tailored academic support and individual interview coaching, as well as guidance for children moving between schools or entering the UK education system.
Every programme is planned around the individual child, ensuring that preparation focuses on the areas where it will make the greatest difference.
Meet Holly, Founder of UK Education Consultants
I founded UK Education Consultants to help families understand their child’s individual strengths, needs and potential, and to make confident decisions about their education and future.
I am a qualified teacher and Head of Mathematics at an independent school, with more than 18 years of experience across prep schools, senior schools and universities in the UK and overseas. I am also a Cambridge International Mathematics Examiner and have extensive experience in assessment, scholarship preparation and supporting children with a wide range of academic profiles.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education, a Level 5 qualification in supporting learners with specific learning difficulties, and a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. This combination allows me to bring rigorous, data-led analysis to each child’s educational profile, while never losing sight of the individual behind the results.
As both an educator and a parent, I know that choosing the right path for a child is rarely straightforward. Every child is different, and what works brilliantly for one may not suit another. I offer thoughtful, honest and highly personalised guidance, helping families understand their options and identify the support and educational environment in which their child is most likely to thrive.
